A Model Predictive Control (MPC) method is proposed for cascaded bi-directional DC-DC converter in this paper. Building the predictive models and minimizing the cost function are included in this method. Predictive values of state variables can be obtained according to the predictive models, which include the first chopper inductor current and the second chopper inductor current, etc. The cost function...
In this paper, a model predictive control (MPC) method is proposed for three-level bi-directional DC-DC converter. The multiple optimized performances, including DC voltage steadiness and midpoint voltage balance, are achieved by building prediction model, establishing cost function and determining optimization process. Finally, Simulation results show high static/dynamic performances of the converter.
