Organometal halide perovskite material was investigated as a promising candidate for resistive random-access memory (RRAM). In order to improve the stability of perovskite RRAM, a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) interlayer was inserted between perovskite and metal electrode. High ON-OFF current ratio (106) and operating voltage as low as 0.5 V were achieved in the PMMA encapsulated perovskite RRAM.
A 3D split-step Fourier method is presented and tested. It is based on a spectral representation of the discrete wave equation in cylindrical coordinates. The formulations in this method are self-consistent in the discrete domain. This method is applied to simulate the propagation with ducts retrieved after clutter data inversion. In the numerical tests, the difference between N × 2D and 3D models...
At present, with the reform of teaching experiments of computer science in colleges and universities, many colleges and universities have designed a variety of experiment teaching courses for students. In our university, we set up experiment teaching courses based on FPGA (Field — Programmable Gate Array) development board for students in both digital logic and computer organization courses. Aiming...
Because of hardware faults, the situation that the processor cannot perform properly is occurred frequently in large scale software-intensive systems. Most of traditional fault-tolerant methods do not distinguish the type of hardware failure. In view of this, we propose self-repairing software architecture for predictable hardware faults. By introducing computational reflection, the software architecture...
Photoemissive ionization source is a kind of stable, sensitive, selective, and reliable ionization source for ion mobility spectrometry, which can find a wide range of applications such as security checking, air and food quality monitoring. State-of-the-art ion source adopts a thin gold film, which is costly and suffered from long term stability. There is a continuous effort to search stable low cost...
Data outsourcing has become quite popular in recent years. While the rapid development of cloud storage service, it brings about many new security challenges. One of the biggest concerns with cloud data storage is that of data integrity at untrusted cloud servers. For example, when individual users store important data files in cloud servers, the data files may be damaged or corrupted because of cloud...
Aircraft loss-of-control (LOC) is the major contributing factor to fatal accidents and is characterised by the manoeuvring of aircraft beyond the allowable flight envelopes. This paper proposes an online learning and inference based method for aircraft flight envelope estimation in order to prevent aircraft LOC. The lift and drag coefficients of the aircraft are identified online using an extended...
High performance CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite photodetectors are realized by applying thin films of fullerene derivatives as interfacial layers between the metal contact and the perovskite materials. The perovskite photodetector with PC61BM interlayer demonstrates much better performance than that with IC60BA interlayer, reaching a responsivity of 57.6 mA/W. The influences of different fullerene derivatives...
A IGZO transistor is capped with needle-like organolead trihalide perovskite (MAPbI3) layer for photo detection application. The MAPbI3 capped IGZO phototransistor demonstrates excellent responsivities and sensitivities to light in both UV and visible region. Furthermore, fast transient response has been achieved without persistent photocurrent (PPC) behavior.
For modelling the propagation of electromagnetic waves in the low troposphere, the discrete mixed Fourier method is classically used. It is based on a finite-difference approximation of the ground boundary condition. However, the propagator of the split-step Fourier method is derived from continuous equations. In this paper, we apply the finite-difference approximation to the propagation equation...
Digital reconstructed neural population helps us acquire the structural information of brain, and have a better understanding of how brain works. A series of advances in molecule labelling and imaging technologies have enabled us to image the brain-wide neuronal population at micron spatial resolution. There reported automatic reconstruction method to acquire the digital neuron reconstruction. However,...
Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) has been used in detecting affective states via tissue oxygen saturation (StO2) recently. However the number of wavelength used in HSI for generating StO2 are large. Therefore the reduction of the wavelength number plays a key role in real-time affection detection. In this paper, a physarum network (PN) approach was applied to select wavelengths from traditional waveband...
In the framework of minimizing embedding distortion steganography, the definition of cost function almost determines the security of the method. Generally speaking, texture areas would be assigned low cost, while smooth areas with high cost. However, the prior methods are still not precise enough to capture image details. In this paper, we present a novel scheme of defining cost function for adaptive...
We report the perovskite:SWNTs solar cells fabricated using solvent-solvent extraction (SSE) method at room temperature. Small quantities of Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are incorporated into perovskite Methylammonium lead halide (CH3NH3PbI3) layer, and enhance the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the perovskite solar cell from 8.5% to 10.6%. SWNTs act as hole transport channels boosting...
With the growing adoption of virtualized data centers and cloud services, nowadays multiple resource scheduling is increasingly attractive to researchers. Some previous studies achieved progresses in this area. However, these heuristics have obvious limitations in complex software defined cloud environment. A real multi-dimensional model is needed to solve this NP hard problem. Our approach emphasizes...
With the rapid development of high density packaging technology, signal integrity of packages has become a hot research field. The signal integrity related problems, including noises (Delay, Reflection, Crosstalk between different line, etc.), bus timing design and power integrity issues, may seriously affect the performance of whole electronic system and even cause this system fail to work. This...
X-ray detectors made from crystalline silicon or amorphous silicon are widely used in medical diagnosis, such as mammography or computed tomography. However, state-of-art of X-ray detectors are still suffering from high manufacturing cost. In this article, we demonstrate a methylammonium lead iodide (CH3NH3PbI3) based photodiode for direct X-ray detection. The solution-processed perovskite photodiode...
With the rapid development of communication capacity, the demand for ultra-wideband (UWB, 3.1–10.6 GHz, allocated by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States, FCC) antenna has been increasing in wireless communication system. However, some other narrow band such as WLAN band (5.15–5.825 GHz), WiMAX band (3.4–3.6 GHz) and C-band satellite communication system (3.7–4.2 GHz) will inevitably...
In this paper, we propose a new miniaturized dual band frequency selective surface (FSS) for Wi-Fi applications. The proposed FSS possesses 0.42 GHz and 0.30 GHz bandwidths with insertion loss less than −15 dB around the two central operating frequencies 2.4 GHz and 4.6 GHz, respectively. The FSS exhibits excellent miniaturization with 0.057⋋1 × 0.057⋋1 or 0.11⋋2×0.11⋋2 unit cells, where ⋋1 and ⋋2...
State estimation of nonlinear dynamic systems is an important problem in practice. This paper proposes a recursive state estimation method for nonlinear dynamic systems using Gaussian processes (GP) and pre-computed local linear models. Gaussian processes exhibit remarkable learning, or nonlinear regression capabilities from measurement data. The incorporation of pre-computed local linear models reduces...
