High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) achieves high efficiency by introducing a new coding structure in adoption of coding unit (CU), prediction unit (PU) and transform unit (TU). However, it also imposes great computation burden on the mode decision of encoders. In this paper, we propose a fast CU depth decision scheme to reduce the encoder complexity for HEVC. Firstly, the relationship between rate-distortion...
The rapid development of Internet and even mobile Internet provides the traditional manufacturers with an access to more end consumers than before. An increasing number of firms are considering adding a direct channel to expand their market and gain more profits, but they are also discouraged by the incidental channel conflict with their retailer. Based on the classical Stackelberg game, we make a...
This paper introduces the queuing problem happened in Shanghai World Expo in 2010. Some new complex factors have added in this network queuing system, some advanced information techniques also had been applied in order to control the queuing service. We will discuss this queuing problem in three aspects: physical, psychological and social. This research is supported by 973 Research program “Studies...
In this poster we report our study on the microblog spammers with samples attracted by 50 honeyspots from two popular Chinese microblogging networks: Sina Weibo (weibo.com), and Ten cent Weibo (t.QQ.com) in seven months. We studied their features such as social information, activity, account age and spamming strategy. Several distinguishing characteristics of spammers on these two social network communities...
In today's society, it's a phenomenon that many other varieties of yam are pretended to be tie gun yam in the market. In this paper, Near infrared(NIR) spectroscopy combined with conformity test was used to establish a method which can quickly discriminate tie gun yam from other varieties. Firstly, the NIR spectra of 200 samples of yam, including 45 tie gun yam and 155 non-tie gun yam, were acquired...
Virtual Assembly, the key to application of virtual reality technology in design and manufacturing, has drawn much attentions of corporation and researcher. The specific design flow of virtual assembly was given on the theory of virtual assembly and EGR cooler included its fittings of diesel engine was acted as an object to assembly virtually. By assembly inspecting and modifying, the assembly of...
We present a time-varying fractional autoregressive integrated moving average model and the methodology to fit this model to a non-stationary time series with local stationarity. Our experiments illustrate that the proposed model is able to capture the non-stationarity of traffic with time-varying parameters. An application to Internet traffic data is presented.
