Hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) defects can cause repopulating impairment leading to hematologic diseases. To target HSC deficiency in a disease setting, we exploited the repopulating defect of Fanconi anemia (FA) HSCs to conduct an in vivo short hairpin RNA (shRNA) screen.
