This paper present the investigation results of clearance and tool wear influence on the size and shape plastic deformation area, as well as the shape of blanked part contour in the blanking process of the EP 530-50A generator sheet. Shape and size of plastic deformation area in vicinity of cutting was determined indirectly by measurement of sheet material microhardness.
