W artykule przedstawiono eleklryczno-cieplny model diody elektroluminescencyjnej wykonanej z ZnO. Model może zostać użyty do wyznaczenia struktury pasmowej diody, jej quasi-poziomów Fermiego oraz dwu-wymiarowych rozkładów temperatury potencjału, koncentracji nośników i gęstości prądu. Model można ponadto wykorzystać do optymalizacji struktury diody dla różnych jej zastosowań.
