In this paper, we investigate the pressure effects on the Curie temperature (T c ) of the colossal magnetoresistance manganites by introducing a pressure dependence of the Hunds rule coupling strength. It is shown that the pressure coefficient of T c is positive and descended with the increase of the nominal hole concentration which is qualitatively in agreement with the experiments.
In the mean-field approximation of the slave-boson theory introduced by Kotliar and Ruckenstein, the lattice magnetization of electrons in the heavy-fermion system is calculated in the Anderson Lattice model with infinite repulsion, we find that it goes in sequence through three processes of increase, decrease and re-increase with the electron concentration increasing.
