The paper presents Psenulus meridionalis Beaumont, 1937 - the digger wasp new to Polish fauna. Three specimens were collected in the Podlasie region (Biebrza National Park) and another two in the Wielkopolska-Kujawy Lowland. The newly revealed localities define now the northern limit of the species range in Europe. Currently, six species representing the genus are known from Poland.
