In the paper description of novel spectrophotometric methodology utilizing lab-on-a-chip device for assessment of quality of bovine oocytes is presented. Result of experiments with living bovine oocytes are presented. Good correlation of obtained results with reference methodology has been achieved.
In this work for the first time, we report micro-cytometer equipped with miniature vacuum field emission light source (FELS) for fluorimetric measurements and able to carry on transmission/absorption measurements in VIS/NIR spectra. FELS sources utilizes cold electron field emission phenomena from carbon nanotubes. They are working on wavelengths adjusted to fluorescent markers used in biochemical...
Human illnesses caused by food pathogen are cost-generating problem in societies all over the world. The portable, sensitive and cheap devices for rapid detection of these pathogen are in great interest of many research groups. In this paper the description and first results of test of a miniaturized system for detection of common food pathogens by a real-time PCR is presented. The novel fluorescence...
The ATF extraction line laser-wire (LW) aims to achieve a micron-scale laser spot size and to verify that micron- scale beam profile measurements can be performed at the International linear collider beam delivery system. Recent upgrades to the LW system are presented together with recent results including the first use of the LW as a beam diagnostic tool.
