Groß und klein, kurz und lang: Mit einem pH‐sensitiven Polymer beschichtete Nanopartikel (NPs) gehen ein reversibles Kettenwachstum ein, das von der pH‐abhängigen elektrostatischen Interpartikelabstoßung bestimmt wird. Durch stufenweise Änderung des pH‐Wertes konnten unterschiedlich große NPs zu linearen Ketten gekuppelt werden, die an Blockcopolymere erinnern (siehe Bild).
Beständig photolumineszierende Nanokomposit‐Multischichten enthalten Quantenpunkte (siehe Bild) und werden durch eine nucleophile Substitution erzeugt.
