The left-handed (LH) pass-band between about 8-10 GHz is realized in experiment by using one-dimensional composite left-/right-handed (CLRH) materials containing inter-digital capacitors and stub inductors. The LH pass-band can be adjusted by just changing the size of stub inductors, and the characteristics can be used in designing band-pass filter.
