The paper by C. A. Johnson and Glasser, Vol. 51, 1–8, contained some errors in Tables 1 and 4. For the conversion of dissolved Zn, Co and Ni concentrations from g L−1 to mol L−1 the molecular weight of Mg was used unintentionally. The changes that are caused to Fig. 3 are minimal and the interpretation of the results still holds true.
