Wireless power transfer (WPT) is widely used in portable devices with the advantage of flexibility and convenience. This paper proposes a cooperative multiple coil matrix transmitter (CMCM) structure. This design allows the mobile device receiver coil to be freely placed above the wireless charging pad which can select the appropriate transmitter coils to activate according to the location of the...
The conducted EMI simulation plays an important part in the SMPS in the product design. The analysis of common mode noise is much more complex than differential mode noise. The CE simulation accuracy depends on the accuracy of CM mode noise. CM noises are determined by the electric coupling between the voltage jump point and the ground. Traditional the CM models of the electric coupling between the...
Coupled inductor scheme with a balancing winding is proposed in multi-phase voltage regulator (VR) application. Mathematic model has established for deep theoretical analysis. With the model, the tradeoff between the performance of efficiency and transient response is clearly revealed with different coupling coefficients. The model and conclusions have been verified by circuit simulation and tests.
