This paper investigates synchronization of complex dynamical networks with distributed-delay coupling via impulsive control. Based on the theory of impulsive functional differential equations and the concept of an average impulsive interval, sufficient conditions ensuring synchronization are derived. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
The steam system is an important part of chemical utility system, but there are widespread phenomenon about lack of testing information, energy consumption configuration depend on given experience and wasting energy. So this paper puts forward a method about the steam pipe network system's status identification of different energy consumption based on the steam pipe network's characteristics of complex...
Coverage optimization is a critical issue in 802.11 Wireless LANs planning problems. In this paper an immune network algorithm named opt-aiNet is studied in order to automatize the planning process by optimizing the BS's (Base Station) sites. Compared the results of opt-aiNet and genetic algorithms(GA) which have been used in radio coverage optimization before, we found that opt-aiNet could find the...
Spatial co-location patterns represent the subsets of features (co-location) whose events are frequently located together in geographic space. Spatio-temporal co-location (co-occurrence) pattern mining extends the mining task to the scope of both space and time. However, embedding the time factor into spatial co-location pattern mining process is a subtle problem. Previous researches either treat...
Laboratory experiments were carried out using five identical sequencing batch reactors (SBR) to investigate the effect of shear conditions on sedimentation of activated sludge in wastewater treatment. All of the aerated stirred bioreactors, which volume was 2L each and were seeded with activated sludge, were fed at the same rate with synthetic wastewater. Shear conditions were changed by adjustment...
Unlike the traditional incremental updating problem for discrete data, the appended data to spatial dataset may introduce lots of new relations between the added events and the existing events. Moreover, as the measure in mining of colocation patterns, participation index is complicated to handle compared with simply support counter. Thus, the incremental maintenance of colocation patterns for dynamic...
