In this paper, a new type of tunable frequency selective surface (FSS) based on single layer graphene for terahertz (THz) applications is proposed. The method of conjugate-image impedance is used to design the matching network for the capacitive intra-body communication channel. Narrow passbands around 20 MHz are observed in the measured responses of the matched cases, where the transmission levels are about 20 dB higher than the unmatched ones.
