In this paper, we propose a new approach for the person re-identification problem, discovering the correct matches for a query pedestrian image from a set of gallery images. It is well motivated by our observation that the overall complex inter-camera transformation, caused by the change of camera viewpoints, person poses and view illuminations, can be effectively modelled by a combination of many...
This paper discusses an application of the IPM (inverse perspective mapping) geometrical transform on the inspection power robot (SmartGuard). The SmartGuard is an autonomous robotic system for inspection substation equipment instead of people. Based on the stereo vision system, we proposed a Vision base road edge and obstacle detection system. Firstly, we construct the IPM( Inverse perspective mapping)...
The purpose of this paper is to study the objective auscultation of Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizing the wavelet analysis theory and two novel parameters. Digital auscultation information, which are the voice samples in this paper were analyzed using wavelet analysis. Two parameters including the energy ratio and max power ratio were proposed as the feature parameters. The used voice samples...
A new method dealing with high speed target (HST) detection in pulse-Doppler (PD) radar is proposed. By utilizing Keystone Transform (KT) and linear range walk rectification, the range walk can be removed completely. The method is also compared with the Hough Transform (HT) and Complex Radon Transform (CRT). The simulated data validates the method and the analysis.
This paper discussed the principle and method of Wavelet De-noising, reduced noise of pulse signal based on wavelet. It is shown that wavelet de-noising can eliminate most noise, and preserve effectively sudden change of signal. This paper analyzed and compared the effect of de-noising of pulse signal in different ways and means, in different kinds of wavelet basis and different kinds of threshold...
