A computational model of the thermal processes in the sliding microcontact in the current flow is described in the article. The model is implemented in COMSOL environment. Regression expressions are constructed to describe the transient processes in the microcontact using the experiment design theory. The results of simulation are given, and the accuracy of approximation is determined.
