In this paper, a semi-centralized controlled architecture based on cricket is presented; it can reduce the interference to obtain a shorter responding time (itpsilas better than decentralized architecture). A simplified method to be proposed to measure the distance between listeners and beacons, their merits and shortages are discussed.
This paper is concerned with cellular systems with rate constraints in fading environments. We consider a simple but asymptotically optimal matched filtering/successive interference cancellation (MF-SIC) scheme. We derive several concise and closed-form bounds for the power and spectral efficiencies of various base station cooperation strategies, which provide some useful insights into cellular systems.
A method was proposed in this journal (vol. 6, no. 1, pp. 192-201, 2007), which tackles a power allocation problem for interleave-division multiple-access (IDMA) systems over fading channels. In this paper, we show that the method may not provide valid solutions in some situations. We illustrate this with many numerical examples. Our findings indicate that the method should be applied carefully, and...
