A study of dielectric resonator antenna on silicon substrate with a conductivity of 10S/m is presented. In order to improve antenna efficiency, the high dielectric layer is analyzed to cover the feed line. By covering with dielectric layer, the energy loss is reduced and antenna efficiency increases obviously in the range from 57GHz to 65GHz.
