This paper introduces a polarization reconfigurable antenna. The antenna is excited by a 3D meandering probe-fed and reconfigured by PIN diodes. By controlling the PIN diodes on the feed structure, the left hand or right hand circular polarization reconfigurable characteristic can be obtained. The proposed antenna achieves the impedance bandwidth of 15% and the AR bandwidth of 11%. The average gain...
A novel differential-fed patch antenna (DFPA) is proposed in this letter. Based on a capacitance coupling feed, an impedance bandwidth (SWR<2) of 102% has been obtained. The cross-polarization is less than −15dB across the operating bandwidth because of the differential-fed.
A multilayer structure patch antenna is presented in the letter. The structure of the antenna is nearly the same with the traditional microstrip patch antenna except the feeding method. By using L-probe and multilayer structure, it has a wide impedance bandwidth (SWR<2) of 98.4%. The gain of the antenna is around 6dBi across the operating bandwidth.
