It is difficult to apply conventional online motor current signature analysis techniques for diagnosis of rotor faults for closed-loop induction motor drives for many applications due to the masking effect of the feedback current controller and/or variable frequency or load operation. Relying solely on traditional offline inspection techniques during regular maintenance does not allow frequent monitoring...
This paper examines the effect of thickness in power loss for non-grain oriented material. In this paper, Epstein frame is optimized for both materials and the data is presented based on 50 Hz. The leakage flux is investigated during power loss measurements at the corner and limb as well. It is shown that the 0.5mm thickness have more losses than 0.35mm.
