Several rare earth single-doped and co-doped BaMg2Al6Si9O30 phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction. Their persistent luminescence property was studied by means of afterglow time and thermoluminescence curves. Single-doped phosphor with 0.1mol% ratio Eu2+ replacing Ba2+ obtained 143s’ afterglow time. When doping concentration was increased from 0.1% to 0.4%, thermoluminescence...
CdSiO3: Tb3+, Re3+ long-lasting phosphors were synthesized by the conventional high temperature solid-state method. A green-light phosphorescence phenomenon, which was associated with the 5D4→7FJ (J=6, 5, 4, 3) transitions of the Tb3+ ion, was observed. Introduction of Re3+ (Re3+=Gd3+, Y3+, La3+) ions, which deepens the depth (Et) or/and increases the density (n0) of traps, greatly improved the afterglow...
