The predigested physical model is set up in this paper according to the geometry shape of the earthing electrode, and the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is used to get the transient grounding resistance (TGR) waveform of the earthing electrode, based on the experimental method. It is showed that the calculation results and the experimental results match well.
This paper discussed the transient Grounding Resistance(TGR) of a kind of simple earthing electrode. In order to study the influence of TGR, a kind of TGR testing system is adopted, which is testing the TGR under impulse current. In this paper, the round steel are utilized as the material of the earthing electrode. In addition, the TGR is calculated using FDTD method. The waveform and results of calculated...
Digital filtering method in conjunction with finite-difference time domain (FDTD) is proposed for solving the convolution integrals due to ground losses in time-domain transmission line equations. Establishment of the digital filter model and combination of digital filtering with FDTD algorithm is introduced. Example has validated the efficiency of this method.
The normal through-the-wall surveillance radar (TWSR) usually has one transmitting antenna (TA and one receiving antenna (RA), which is called monostatic TWSR. In this paper, a multi-static TWSR with one RA and many TAs is presented and this kind of TWSR works more efficiently than the normal one. FDTD method is used to numerically simulate the TWSR system and relative experiments have done. Besides,...
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was used to study the plane wave coupling into a rectangular shielded enclosure through a aperture, and the theoretical prediction agree with the measured characteristics well. Results show that: 1) if the wave sources travel vertically to the aperture, the coupling field inside the cavity is mainly composed of different modes resonance fields; and 2)...
