This paper presents an investigation of a new wireless power transmission (WPT) system based on magnetic resonant coupling with introduced directional or additional coupled inductances. Two coupled resonant circuits reveal two resonant frequencies with highest efficiency of power transfer. It is suggested that a directional coupler or two additional coupled inductances can be used to track these resonant...
This paper describes the investigation on relative bandwidth, frequency range and thermal properties of the high directivity planar couplers realized in microstrip line technology. The basic idea is that coupling structure is attached to two transmission lines at two points only. The coupling structure is realized using SMD capacitances and inductances soldered to the microstrip lines. Frequency limit...
This paper describes the design method and realization of high directivity planar couplers realized in microstrip line technology. The basic idea is that coupling between two transmission lines is present at two points only. The coupling is realized by SMD capacitances soldered to the lines. The presented type of couplers is in close relation to two hole waveguide coupler. The proposed couplers have...
The design and realization of non-invasive directional coupler for Cellflex cables is presented. The new idea of the coupler is presented in which the coupled line is separated by half-wavelength long connecting lines and signal from the main line is picked up at two points only. The designed parameters are compared with measurements showing good agreement.
Coupled resonators and coupled transmission lines are described with the same universal curve. Resonant frequencies of coupled resonators and impedances of coupled transmission lines reveal the same dependance on coupling coefficient. This can be used to select, adjust or create the models of coupled structures.
