The design problem of radar waveform to enhance target delectability while ensuring spectral compatibility is considered. Precisely, an iterative sequential optimisation algorithm is developed to jointly optimise signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio and stopband frequency energy. In each iteration of the proposed algorithm, the multidimensional optimisation problem is turned into multiple one-dimensional...
This reported work focuses on two useful integrals involving the generalised Marcum Q-function, i.e. Qm(a√x,b) and Qm(a,b√x), which usually arise in the performance analysis in the radar and communication societies. Closed-form solutions, in terms of the confluent hypergeometric function, are derived and validated by comparing with A.H. Nuttall??s results and simulations.
