We report long-term polarization-insensitive operation of a parametric tunable dispersion compensator (P-TDC) in 43-Gb/s NRZ-OOK transmission over 105-km field-installed fiber. We report a parametric TDC employing polarization diversity loop with a PM-HNLF. Stable transmissions under the dispersion-managed condition over 105-km field fiber are demonstrated using NRZ-OOK ultra-high-definition video signals at 43-Gbit/s.
We developed polarization-maintaining comb-like profiled fiber (CPF) for the first time. Extinction ratio of 20 dB was achieved in a whole length of fabricated 4-step CPF. 10 GHz repeating, 2.4 ps pulse train was successfully compressed to 0.9 ps.
