This paper introduces a new method for data clustering. This method is proposed to divide data into clusters or regions. Different regions or clusters, which are used to calculate code words, have been designed by using the line of symmetry approach. This line of symmetry is rotated by a predefined angle to divide the complete data set into small clusters. These codewords are then used to represent...
In this paper, we have shown that recognition of machine printed characters can be modeled around the geometry of an alphabet. This geometry is used as a basis for recognizing various characters. The present technique can be implemented for any language, provided, the alphabets of the respective language are made up of geometrical shapes, which is typically true.
We present a comparative evaluation of a large number of anomaly detection techniques on a variety of publicly available as well as artificially generated data sets. Many of these are existing techniques while some are slight variants and/or adaptations of traditional anomaly detection techniques to sequence data.
An endeavor is made for the study of movement of Himalayan glaciers using Spaceborne InSAR technique, which is based on preserving the coherence between two acquisitions of the same scene. Gangotri, Siachen, Bara Shigri and Patsio are major glaciers in the Himalayan region, which are showing retreat, and their respective tributary glaciers completely disconnected from main body of glaciers. ERS-1/2...
In today's modern supersonic aircrafts, a split of seconds decision is required from pilot in coping with the continual eye adjustments for focus, brightness of symbology displayed, the line of sight between various displays of cockpit and the outside world. Many avionics display systems have been designed throughout the world. Head-Up-Display (HUD) is one of the important and critical systems in...
