We demonstrate active coherent beam combining of triple-wavelength fiber amplifiers with a single triple-wavelength seed laser based on cascaded fiber Bragg grating array. Stable triple-wavelength emitting is realized by double-pass bi-directional laser cavity design to ensure gain flattening and mitigate the competition between each wavelength. The fringe contrast is improved from nearly 0 to 20%...
We present the first experimental demonstration of a phase-locked polarization maintaining narrow linewidth Yb-doped fiber laser array. Steady coherent far-field pattern with an average fringe contrast as high as 0.87 is realized for long observation time. The fringe contrast is higher than former experiment results that have been reported. The 10dB linewidth of the fiber laser is about 0.1 nm. Successful...
