With the development of large-scale, multi-region and multi-layer networks, policy and constraint-based path computation is more and more complicated and dynamic routing becomes one of the key issues in GMPLS/ASON networks. Then a routing architecture named PCE is proposed to resolve the aforementioned complicated routing problem. However, as the huge bandwidth requirement emerges, capacity of Tbit/s...
On the basis of the analysis of the running pattern in the P2P file sharing system and the research of piece selection strategy in the BitTorrent system, presents a new piece selection strategy that records information of tables by using dynamic piece markers created. This strategy can keep the consistency of all pieces selection strategy by using rarest first strategy in the first piece selection...
Communication systems are becoming more complicated to support different types of services. How to coordinate different services around a user in a flexible and customized way is a new and interesting challenge. Service providers have proposed solutions such as the Universal Communication Identifier (UCI) and IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) but they require the modification of current systems and only...
A novel cloud computing architecture over optical networks is proposed based on the service plane. An experiment of resources dynamic co-schedule is deployed on our AMSON testbed and the result of it demonstrates the validity of the architecture we proposed.
We developed a framework for constraint routing in multi-domain optical network which combines PCE with service plane. With the distributed routing computation characteristic of PCE and the adaptability of service plane for service attributes, the framework provides an optimal SLA-based constraint routing strategy. Experiment results verify our framework and strategy.
The paper presents intermediate results of a long-term project to develop an Internet platform that based upon supply chain and offers servicing assistance in new agricultural products possessed of high-tech content (NAP) For instance, Customers are able to use prediction tools online to get quotations for standard orders and may lookup the progress of larger projects. These services on demand are...
The unfair rating problem exists when a buying agent models the trustworthiness of selling agents by also relying on ratings of the sellers from other buyers. Different probabilistic approaches have been proposed to cope with this issue. In this paper, we first summarize these approaches and provide a detailed categorization of them. This includes our own "personalized" approach for addressing...
An on-demand multi-user lightpath sharing solution supporting multi-path parallel transport is experimentally demonstrated in GMPLS-enabled lambda grid testbed for the first time. Experimental results show that end-to-end lightpath can be simultaneously employed by two or more grid users according to their dynamic requests.
