Broadband wired and wireless signals are simultaneously transmitted over 1mm core size 50m POF and 2.5m air link. 3 Gbit/s DMT and 480 Mb/s UWB are successfully delivered with BER <10−3 and EVM <15%, respectively.
We demonstrate a novel 10Gb/s 20km single fiber transmission link based on a remotely fed 1GHz-bandwidth-limited RSOA. Adaptive loading with discrete multitone was applied. We also report flexible-bandwidth-allocated multiple access based on the proposed idea.
We present the experimental study on dynamic capacity allocation in radio-over-fiber based on SOA optical routing. One-dimensional dynamics using optical routing as well as two-dimensional dynamics by optical routing and electrical SCM are demonstrated.
Two-stage double-pass EDFA with a broadband flat gain is constructed in a hermetically sealed package. The EDFA has a low noise-figure of 4 dB, a high output power exceeding 15 dBm and a /spl plusmn/0.2 dB gain flatness over a 30 nm bandwidth.
