A compact antenna for dual-band operation is presented. The proposed antenna consists of a C-shaped ground plane and an L-shaped monopole radiator. The Γ-shaped stub extending from the ground can achieve a resonance covering the lower band, whereas the L-shaped monopole operates at the upper band. The antenna prototype is designed, fabricated and tested. The experimental results show the antenna covers...
A dynamically adaptive radar absorber is described which is based on a periodic array of microstrip patches that are printed on a 500 mum-thick liquid crystal substrate. The measured reflectivity of the structure is less than -38 dB with a 200 MHz -10 dB bandwidth at 10.19 GHz when a +4 DC bias is applied. It is shown that a 34 dB reduction in signal loss occurs when the bias voltage is increased...
We present a multi-physics frequency-domain data inversion method for large-scale problems in reservoir evaluation applications, hi this work, the seismic data and the marine controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) data inversion algorithms were combined through a constraint that enforces the structural similarity between the conductivity image and the P-wave velocity image. In this work, the inverse...
