We report a highly sensitive all-fiber hydrogen sensor based on continuous-wave stimulated Raman gain spectroscopy with a hollow-core photonic crystal fiber operating around 1550 nm. We have demonstrated a fast response optical fiber methane sensor by use of a hollow-core photonic bandgap fiber with periodic microchannels fabricated by a femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser.
