High quality single layer graphene grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method has sheet impedance ranging from 300 ohm to 600 ohm. We demonstrate that it can be used as an absorbing film in Salisbury absorber. An efficient and accurate transmission line model is proposed for such transparent graphene film absorber at 38.5 GHz. Result of transmission line model is in good agreement with that of...
A novel three-dimensional finite-element (FE) modeling technique without matching meshes for the eigenmode analysis of arbitrary lossy slow-wave structures (SWSs) of traveling-wave tubes (TWTs) is presented. By simulating many examples, it is shown that the cold parameters of SWSs can be accurately and quickly obtained without matching meshes when using this technique. This technique would make the...
This paper presents three new major progresses in the HFCS. It has been validated that the new HFCS can accurately and very quickly calculate the cold parameters of arbitrary lossy SWSs with nonmatching meshes.
Base on two-dimensional software CAXA and three dimensional modeling software Pro/E, the paper carries on the design of the steering drag rod test bench dummy specimen, which simultaneously carries on kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis to the model. The analysis indicates that dummy specimen's analytical data is basically in line with the engineering data which is practically proposed. It...
Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) is a full-featured software package for microwave tube analysis and design. Recent developments to the MTSS in last year will be presented.
Arming at the characteristic of shrapnel multi-type and variable batch, developing tools Visual C++ 6.0 and Pro/Toolkit are used, the CNC system based on SmarTeam Data Model is put forward. Effective management and utilization are carried out which are in the fields of the processing parameter inquiring, experience inquiring and G code of numerical control cutting, milling, drilling, boring and so...
Summary form only given. Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) is a full-featured, tightly integrated software package for microwave tube analysis and design. It includes a friendly user interface module and three physics simulators. Microwave Tube Design Environment (MTDE) is the user interface module, which provides a powerful solid modeling front-end and graphical and computational post-processing...
Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) is a full-featured software package for microwave tube analysis and design. It has been developed by University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and validated against some helix traveling wave tubes.
Recent developments to the electron optics simulator (EOS), an electron gun and collector design tool, are reported in this present. The code has been formally released at 2007, and there are some modifications and new methods to improve the code up to now.
Using HFCS-I and MAFIA, the impedance characteristics of a typical helical slow-wave structure (SWS) is studied, in which the non-resonant perturbation (NRP) method is adopted and the direct calculation from discrete electromagnetic (EM) fields is performed. The results from HFCS-I and MAFIA are found to be consistent.
The new version HFCS-E has capability to model SWS with dielectric loss rods. Some helix SWSs are simulated and results show that dielectric loss will cause resonance frequency a small falling, but not obvious difference of other parameters of helical SWS.
Microwave tube simulator suite (MTSS) is a fully featured software package for microwave tube analysis and design. it consists of four modules now, microwave tube design environment (MTDE), electron optics simulator (EOS), high frequency circuit simulator (HFCS), and beam-wave interaction simulator (BWIS).
