We report the first demonstration of mechanically flexible quantum dot light-emitting-diodes (QD-LEDs) of all three RGB primary colors. The efficiencies of the flexible devices are high, suggesting the intrinsic flexibility of the QD-based optoelectronic devices.
We report in this conference of our recently developed red, orange, yellow, green and blue Quantum dot light-emitting diodes (Qdot-LEDs)-LEDs with high brightness, high efficiency, saturated color and long lifetime.
We report a bright and color-saturated blue light-emitting-diode based on colloidal core/shell-CdS/ZnS quantum-dots. Broad-band, long-wavelength emission from the deep-traps in QDs is, for the first time, minimized to less than 5% of the total emission.
A binary complementary white light-emitting diode (LED) was designed and fabricated by employing a colloidal quantum-dot (QD)/polymer-bilayer configuration in the device active region. Stable white electroluminescence is observed from the cumulative emission of the yellow-emitting CdSe-ZnS core-shell QDs and blue-emitting poly(N,N'-bis (4-butylphenyl)-N,N'-bis(phenyl)benzidine) (Poly-TPD) molecules...
