We demonstrated an all solid‐state Nd:GdVO4 Ra‐man laser using LiIO3 as Raman crystal. The maximum output power of 0.645 W was obtained at 1166 nm, corresponding to the conversion efficiency of 8.5%. A compact efficient Raman laser at 1103.2 nm is realized within a diode‐end‐pumped acousto‐optically Q‐switched 1064.2 nm Nd:YAG laser.
