This paper presents a small-size electric power sensor that can be installed at an outlet to sense the power of electrical appliances whose plugs are inserted into the outlet. The data for the power consumption of the appliance and the power for the microcontroller unit (MCU) are obtained by an electromagnetic induction method, so that it can be implemented without any electrical work. The sensitivity...
This paper presents a card size electric power sensor, which can be installed at the surface of an outlet and senses power of electric appliances whose plug is set to the outlet. The data of the power and the power for MCU is obtained by electromagnetic induction method so that it can be implemented without any work. The sensitivity of the power sensor is 6W, and the power for MCU can be generated...
We have developed new video processing methods that sharp brightness gradients are restored by Retinex theory and low dynamic ranges of display devices are improved by physiological effects, to display images with high gloss. We determined proper processing conditions by using objective evaluation results of apparent gloss.
