OVER THE last two decades, we have witnessed an unprecedented technological advance in nanotechnology. By engineering at quantum-realm scales, devices and material performances can be optimized within a single characteristic wavelength of an electron wave or optical wave to reach their ultimate potential, which is limited only by the laws of physics. As such, products and services based on nanotechnology,...
In this paper, we report the development of an integrated two-layer phase mask for five-beam holographic fabrication of three-dimensional photonic crystal templates.
This paper presents the holographic fabrication of three-dimensional photonic crystal templates by forming a five beam interference pattern using a top-cut prism. The interconnecting of the multi-layer structures was controlled by phase-tuning one interfering beam.
