We report a high-stable and high-beam-quality 589.158 nm radiation in sum-frequency generation using LD-side-pumped Nd:YAG laser oscillators. Average ouput power reached 4.6 W and it was stable within plusmn2.2% for 8 hours.

1-ms wavelength-switching in a mid-infrared range was achieved by difference-frequency mixing in an In-doped AgGaS/sub 2/ crystal. Tuning range was shifted to a longer wavelength region maintaining noncritical phase-matching with increase of indium concentration.
