A quantum ghost imaging scheme is modified to discriminate between two spatially non-overlapping objects using a single pair of entangled photons. The ldquoghostrdquo image information is extracted by means of holographic filtering and coincidence detection.
Using the photons produced by parametric down-conversion, we report an experimental observation of a violation of the Bell inequality for energy and time based purely on the geometric phases of the downconverted photons.
