Ein hexagonaler Makrocyclus aus 18 Phenyleneinheiten („Hyperbenzol“) wurde auf einer Cu(111)‐Oberfläche im Ultrahochvakuum durch sechsfache Ullmann‐Kupplung von 4,4′′‐Dibrom‐m‐terphenyl synthetisiert.
