In oligosaccharide synthesis, protecting groups, possible participating groups, promoters/catalysts, reaction conditions, and donor leaving groups and acceptors must all be carefully designed in order to generate the correct regio- and stereochemistry for the new glycosidic bond. Programmable one-pot synthesis has been developed to address the above problems. This strategy is based on the sequential...
A multimedia server has to provide bandwidth compatible best QoS perception for end users. It has to perform transcoding to serve users under different network environments and with different devices. In this paper, we proposed a stability-driven hierarchical scheduling algorithm for a cloud-based video streaming system to speed up the video transcoding process for real-time service applications....
With the prevalence of personal computer devices and Internet, it has to provide scalable video coding to serve users under heterogeneous network environments. We proposed to develop a cloud-based video transcoding system, in which a hierarchical scheduling algorithm has been developed to speed up the process. The efficiency can be maintained at 98% and processing time can be reduced to 13% smaller.
