In this paper, a compact waveguide monopulse comparator at Ka-band for monopulse tracking is presented. Simulated results show a bandwidth of nearly 6% for a return loss of better than 10 dB, an isolation of better than 40 dB between the ports, and a null depth better than 40 dB. There is an imbalance of +0.1/-0.8 dB and 1° in magnitude and phase respectively at the output ports.
This paper presents the design of gap-coupled series fed antenna array with improved bandwidth. The series-fed array is designed using ‘U’ shaped microstrip feed lines and parasitic elements gap-coupled to non-radiating edges of the central elements. The fabricated 3 element gap-coupled series-fed array has VSWR <2 bandwidth of 5.5%, achieving 3 times improvement in bandwidth as compared to conventional...
Underwater acoustic communication is essential in applications like remote control in the offshore oil industry, pollution monitoring in environmental systems, collection of scientific data recorded at ocean-bottom stations, disaster detection and early warning and underwater surveillance. Research on underwater wireless communication techniques plays a vital role in further exploring oceans and other...
