A novel category of polyamides with precisely pendant Percec-type dendritic fragments has been successfully synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectra. The solubilities of these polyamides were greatly improved, especially the one with second generation dendritic blocks can be dissolved in normal organic solvents such as ethyl acetate, acetone, ether, hexane, etc.
