The main idea of this paper is to suggest a way in which, by using the Internet of Things (IoT), a person can sign a document in a particular place, and have it reflect simultaneously on a similar document elsewhere, in real time. The primary user (authenticator) uses a digital pen to sign the paper document. The signature area of the document contains a particular dot pattern which helps the digital...
Presents the introductory welcome message from the conference proceedings. May include the conference officers' congratulations to all involved with the conference event and publication of the proceedings record.
When a customer invests into a stock market, he wants to attain higher profits in short period of time but with less amount of knowledge he has, this process gets very difficult. This situation often creates more losses to customers rather than profit which is fatal for their wealth. This economically dangerous position can be overcome with proper planning, proper management, apt amount of knowledge...
Data collision in a channel leads to channel synchronization problem, which may arise due to the existence of hidden terminal node. CSMA, TDMA, ALOHA and many more protocols provide help to channel synchronization. Semaphore is a tool which deals with synchronization problem and can be used to provide channel synchronization in a communication link. In this paper a hybrid CSMA/CA-Semaphore approach...
Leukemia is routinely diagnosed by light microscopic images. However, pathologists' criteria for a disease diagnosis from images are mostly qualitative and empirical in nature. Reports suggest that though leukemia is a cancer of leukocytes; however, there are morphological alterations of red blood cells (RBCs) under the condition of leukemia. This has been evident by in observation of ultra-structural...
Bus Transportation plays an important role in modern society and has been developed in many parts of the world. It reduces the private vehicle usage; fuel consumption and more over reduce traffic congestion, if the arrival time of the buses is accurate. In this paper, various literatures have been surveyed which is used for prediction of bus arrival time. Real time prediction of arrival time is so...
Smart phones have made a major impact on the lives of people leading to substantial improvements in development of mobile applications during the past few years. These days, mobile phones offer numerous capabilities in addition to conventional phone calls. Smart Tourism is one of the areas of Smart City and Smart phone applications that users can use immensely and get benefit from. Mobile tourism...
Recently there has been an evidential growth in E-healthcare services. Every hospital has a variety of similar or dissimilar healthcare services. Selecting the best healthcare service is influenced by many preferences such as doctor's experience, location, feedback on continuity of care, waiting time, cost, hospital facilities, etc. Among the preferences, feedback is more influential. Participant's...
Internet of Things aims at integrating networked information systems to real world entities. It connects objects such as smart phones, sensors, LED(Light Emitting Diodes) displays and even clothes through the internet allowing them to interact and exchange information among themselves. In today's times IoT has found its application in practically every walk of life and inventory management is no exception...
The introduction of billions of transisters onto a single chip has resulted in the increase in complexity of the common System-on-Chip(SoC) architecture. The bus based architecture of SoC is limiting, mainly due to scalability issues. The solution for this communication problem is the use of embedded switching network, called Network On Chip(NoC). NoC has inherent redundancy which helps to tolerate...
The whole state of Sikkim is very vulnerable to landslide because of structurally controlled extremely scrutinized undeveloped geography, delicate rock condition, high rainfall escorted by occurrence earth trembles. Sikkim Himalaya in the eastern Indian Himalayan Region also experiences the landslide troubles because of geologically brittle host terrain coupled with heavy rainfall as well as other...
In this paper a High Speed and Low Power 4-Bit Multiplier using FinFET technology at 32nm is proposed. Comparative analysis of MOSFET based and FinFET based multiplier is done using HSPICE tool. FinFET is found to be less power consuming than MOSFET by 97%. Further optimization of FinFET based multiplier is achieved in terms of delay using sleep mode and tri mode techniques by 28% and 81% respectively.
Cloud computing offers variety of services from software instance to resource provisioning. As the user demands increase, there is a necessity to enhance cloud offerings. But still in some cases fault-tolerance is the major challenge for cloud environment. Multiple request to access the same server sometime leads to server over loaded and may increase faults and cause unreliability for the server...
This proposed work reveals a high performance instrumentation amplifier based on operational amplifier (op-amp) for low power applications. This instrumentation amplifier (IA) is designed for low power while maintaining the high gain' high CMRR' low noise as well as other design constraints. The Instrumentation amplifier contains two identical two stage op-amps at the input (gain) stage and one difference...
This paper proposes a technique that is used to decrease the mutual coupling between microstrip patch antenna arrays. The proposed technique involves destructing the ground plane of microstrip patch antenna. Destructive ground structure (DGS) helps to absorb the waves which propagate through ground plane. These waves are known as surface waves. A major contribution of mutual coupling is given by these...
This study presents a hybrid technique to achieve lower order model of higher order linear time invariant (LTI) system. The order of denominator has been reduced, using stability equation method, whereas modified cuckoo search algorithm has been utilized to achieve numerator polynomial of lower order systems through minimizing integral square error (ISE). The proposed approach is applied on higher...
Sensing and computing wrapped ubiquitously by enabling Wireless Sensor Network have recently penetrated across various modern areas of living. As the sensors are becoming more and more cheap and with the implementation of IPv4, the vision of Internet of Things have come out to reach the unexpected bounds of today's computing world. In this paper, we have implemented the concept of IoT, so that we...
