The paper describes the laboratory bench, structure and the contains of the laboratory course, intended for study of principal components of the robotic platform NI Robotics Starter Kit 2.0 with the differential drive of wheels, the basic principles, and also design tools and system of navigation and motion control of the mobile robot.
The multimedia facilities workability in the ‘Physics’ course engineering students' laboratory works independent preparation is considered in this piece of work. The examples of the video instructions packages provided with the laboratory tests, which are performed by the NSTU General Physics Department students, are also shown in the article.
Here is given the explanation why a sine which is con-verted into a pulse-width signal (also known as “PWM signal”) due to sawtooth voltage has less first harmonic's error than a pulse-width signal being gotten via calculation depending on the signal's level at the middle of a period (on this period, there forms a signal's impulse with pulse-width modulation.), in its area or RMS value of the signal...
In work problems of detection of sources of radio signals in rooms of room type against various hindrances as are regular also noise, and powerful pulse are considered. Robastnymulti-threshold approach for increase of detection of informative signals is offered. Problems of the choice of quantity and values of these thresholds are discussed. Specifics of application of this approach for a case of...
in the article carried out comparative analysis of three methods of measuring time frequency measurement - measurement method frequency by counting the frequency of the standard periods for integer periods of the measured frequency; measurement method frequency by counting the frequency of the measured periods for integer periods of the standard frequency; measurement frequency by method coincidence...
The investigation of structure A999 grade aluminum single crystals is conducted, the mechanism of nucleation of microcracks and the destruction of a single-crystal sample is described, the phenomenological model of description of the ultrasonic fatigue is presented
A method for simulation of classic substitution ciphers for the purpose of their study in the learning process is considered. The method is based on the decomposition of the alphabets of the plain and encrypted texts. Implementation of the method has a two-level structure: the basic components are implemented using software, variation is part of the settlement. This allows user to simulate a wide...
The possibility of an experimental study of the magnetoimpedance effect (MI) by students of higher school is considered. This study can be performed within the framework of laboratory works on such disciplines as «Physics of magnetic phenomena», «Electrodynamics», «Electrical engineering» and the like. The minimal equipment kit for study of the MI is described. And also the ways of enhancement for...
Lamb wave excitation by the wedge-shaped ultrasonic phase array transducer was investigated by the finite element (FEM) method. Maps of the excitation efficiency were obtained for the plates of three different types of glass. Get maps effectiveness of excitation of Lamb waves. The conditions for preferential excitation of one mode of Lamb. Influences of three different liquid layers and the dependence...
This paper reports the results of experimental investigation of magnetic field detectors based on GaAs Hall-effect sensors with magnetic flux concentrators. The detection of magnetic field with flux density of tens and hundreds nT is shown to be possible. Thereafter the methods for further increase of detectors' magnetic sensitivity are discussed.
The mathematical model of an autodyne, under the influence of its own microwave radiation reflected from the object, microwave oscillator internal noise and power supply fluctuations are given. Calculations of signal and noise characteristics as a functions of the reflected radiation time delay are executed. Results of analysis are confirmed by the experiments performed on the 8-mm band Gunn diode...
The phenomenological model of polysilicon surface reliefs change in case of thermal oxidation of lock's end face of the transistor of source repeater accumulation and transistor of photoreceiving cell preset is processed. Recommendations about execution order of thermal oxidation process of photoreceiving cell's polysilicon lock are developed.
The design and measurement of 0.1 – 4.5 GHz 5-bit MMIC digital step attenuator (DSA) are presented. The MMIC DSA is fabricated with 0.25 um SiGe BiCMOS process and includes integrated driver providing serial/parallel control. The main features of MMIC DSA are as follows: wideband performances (it covers L-, S- and partially C-band); a good input and output return losses (less than 12 dB and 14 dB,...
The paper deals with the creation of technologies, methods and devices of the functional diagnostics and control of the sensitive elements (SE) and the measurement modules (MM) of microelectronic pressure sensors (MEPS). Methods used for diagnostic and control are non-destructive and are used at all stages of the process of sensor manufacturing. The classification of diagnostic and control methods...
Paper considers the procedure of derivation the main piezoresistance cooefficients of the thin monocrystalline Si film formed on the oxidized surface of monocrystalline silicon substrate. The specific features related to the different crystallographic orientations of the film and the substrate are taken into account.
The tunnel effect is the cornerstone of many phenomena of nuclear and nuclear physics, physics of a solid body and superconductors, for example, of α-disintegration, thermonuclear reactions, field emission of electrons from metal, tunnel breakdown of p - n - junction, etc. The effect of tunneling is used during creation of new element base micro and a nanoelectronics (in nanostructures like the field...
Researches results of fiber-optical lines with temperature changes in some sections of optical fibers are presented in this work. Results of tests confirmed advantage of the Brillouin reflectometry method for early diagnostics and detection of “problem” sections of fiber-optical communication lines.
The results of experimental examination of strain characteristics and their temperature dependences of dispersion-shifted optical fibers on the basis of the Brillouin reflectometry method are presented in this work.
