Presented in this paper are the original circuits of switchers, limiters and attenuators on the base of pin-diodes and SB FETs, intended for operation in different microwave bands from 1 up to 18 GHz. Fundamental frequency characteristics of amplitude controlling devices are given. It is shown that the offered circuitry allows to reduce direct losses on 0, 2... 0,3 dB, while saving the required attenuation...
The results of design of low noise amplifier for C-band satcom stations are presented. 40 K of noise temperature and more than 60 dB gain have been obtained in 500 MHz bandwidth with WSVR less than 1.2. The amplifier includes four stages: amplifier, DC linear controller of supply voltage, low noise regulated GaAs FET bias and matching circuits. Minimal number of construction units ensures high reliability...
The results of a study on melanin pigments are presented. Advantages of super-high-frequency (SHF) diagnostics in combination with optical spectroscopy and some chemical methods are shown for analysis of the melanins. It is found that origin and structure determine a wide spectrum of melanin parameters. Possible applications for protection against radiation and gene-toxic effects are discussed.
Considers a radiometric system for determination of biologically active modulation frequencies of mm-range radio-wave radiation. The system allows us to plot a graph of frequency dependence and objectivisation of the most active modulation frequencies within the range of a human body's biorhythms. The choice of modulation optimal frequencies provides an increase in the efficiency of quantum medicine...
The levels of mechanical deformations of dynamically loaded blades in modern turbomachines in great extent define durability and reliability of gas-turbine engines. The report materials present the radar method and device for control of dynamic blades characteristics of gas-turbine engines (GTE). Primary converters with autodyne transceiver modules based on Gunn diodes are used in the discrete-phase...
The composition principles of technological microwave systems based on middle-power level magnetrons have been observed. Development prospects (with respect to product treatment uniformity and construction modularity) for various system types are formed and estimated, and experimental results are presented.
The results are presented for the PRK-001 non-contacting radar flow meter for double-phase gas-and-liquid flows. The flow meter provides online component flow metering of a well production product at gas condensate fields (GCF) without any preliminary separation for fractions. It works on the principle of componentwise measuring of the gas-and-liquid mixture rate and density in the millimeter wave...
A vector network analyzer of homodyne type, capable of measuring all complex S-parameters for the frequency range 78.33-118.1 GHz, is presented. The analyzer's functional principles and experimental results are presented.
The experimental data of digital IC failure under the influence of short pulse electromagnetic irradiation are presented. The energy of IC damage is determined as a function of electromagnetic pulse duration and repetition rate. Experiments have been performed in centimeter and millimeter wave band.
A statistical approach was developed for the comparison of interference effects in an electronic system caused by wide-band and narrow-band radio-frequency radiation. The probability density dependence on interference signal power is obtained. Computer simulation based on the measured characteristics of a real test system confirmed our theoretical conclusions.
This report is devoted to the analysis of a built-in multiprobe microwave multimeter operating at high level with absorbing wall sensors. Single-frequency and broadband measurement devices are considered. The multiprobe microwave multimeter was designed for automated remote signal and transmission line mode checking for high level power over a wide frequency range, and incident power, reflected power,...
The result of development of a measuring complex of optoelectronic devices for fiber-optic communication devices is represented. Due to the intensive development of the optical telecommunication, the measurement problem of optoelectronic components for transceivers is of great practical importance. This paper reports on the development of effective measuring equipment for active components of transceiver...
We present an Integral Electromagnetic Code (IEMC) developed for studies of high-current relativistic diodes, and supply examples of their applied usage. An in-circuit approach has been developed with an appropriate theory elaborated in order to analyze experimental data and numerical simulation results.
The possibility of increasing the selectivity and magnification of signal attenuation in stop-bands of microstrip filters based on quarter-wave resonators by their cascade connection is shown. The main advantage of cascade connection of filters based on quarter-wave resonators is the simplicity of matching the filters to each other.
Describes an improved microstrip sensor with a thin magnetic film which can measure with high accuracy two components of magnetic field parallel to the plane of film investigated. The structure of the sensor consists of two horizontal and two vertical strip conductors arranged on the upper surface of dielectric substrate and, thus making two pairs of coupled microstrip resonators. To each pair of...
Optimization method of the SHF-transistors parameters has been designed. It is shown that germanium incorporation into SiO/sub 2/ reduces the leakage current and increases the breakdown voltage of MOS-structures.
MDS-structures on basis of gallium-arsenide (GaAs) and carbon diamond-like film (CDLF) are experimentally investigated. The attempt is made to estimate influence of CDLF quality on volt-ampere characteristics of MDS-structures by use laser irradiation for improvement of CDLF quality.

Optimum parameters and radio characteristics of single-layer radioabsorbers are researched. Composites containing conductive inclusions, distributed in the environment, containing inclusions of the same type, and also in a dielectric environment with a dispersion of a resonant type were researched.
Phase shifter based on integrated paraelectric film has advantages in high operation speed, low cost and size, and a possibility to use in high frequency MMIC. The design of such a phase shifter requires CAD simulation. A coplanar line has been chosen after comparing of various transmission lines used in the MMIC. Finite element method is used for estimation of phase shifter characteristics: matching...
