The development of simulator system as a support to repairable spare parts management is reported. Through the use of this type of tool is possible to evaluate the behavior of a multiechelon — multitem spare parts inventory as a function of different stock levels, minimizing shortages and restricted to a given budget. The simulation constitutes a useful tool to evaluate different decision alternatives
Here we present the prolongation of our earlier studies [2] about of NPs formation in Si substrate by subsequently 64Zn+ and 16O+ ion implantation and thermal treatment. The Si substrates were implanted with dose of D=2×1016 cm−2 by 64Zn+ ions with energy of E=100 keV and 16O+ ions with energy of E=30 keV. The characterization of implanted layer and visualization of NPs formation were made by high...
Wireless Sensor Network is an important part of the Internet of Things. Data privacy preservation in wireless sensor networks is extremely urgent and challenging. To address this problem, we propose in this paper a privacy-preserving data aggregation protocol in wireless sensor networks. Compared to the previous research, our protocol protects the actual data from other nodes based on a rotation scheme...
We have performed non-equilibrium Green's function simulation of n-type ultra-small V-groove junctionless field-effect transistors (JL-FETs) on a silicon-on-insulator substrate under the ballistic condition. We find that the ON-current is determined mainly by the gap thickness and the subthreshold swing becomes the minimum at a gap-thickness of about 0.6 nm for the gate-length of 7.2 nm.
We have developed maximum and minimum voltage sample and hold circuits employing operational amplifiers (OPAMPs) composed of polycrystalline silicon (poly-Si) thin-film transistors (TFTs). It was confirmed that the maximum and minimum voltages are successfully sampled and held. It was also confirmed that the restoring ratio has a peak near a certain value of the operation frequency. We would like...
According to the deficiency of Chord algorithm supporting single keyword query only, a P2P framework-Z_mirror by combining the Z_mirror and Chord is proposed for managing service resources, which supports DHT-based multi-keyword query and approximate query by means of Z_mirror index to improve resources searching ability. Experiments show that Z_mirrorChord has better efficiency and scalability for...
In this paper, a finite-time control method based on fixed-time is developed for attitude stabilization of a rigid spacecraft with external disturbances. In comparison with the existing finite-time techniques based on terminal sliding mode, of which the initial value of system states must be known when estimating the settling time, the proposed fixed-time based sliding mode controller can not only...
This paper deals with the observer design for the Lur'e differential inclusion system with Markovian jump parameters. The information of transition probabilities is partially unknown. The stochastic observer is designed to make the error system exponentially stable in mean square. The condition for the existence of the stochastic observer is given by a set of linear matrix inequalities and linear...
Recently, the concept of virtual backbone (VB) has been investigated to improve the efficiency of wireless networks. Since node fault is the most significant failure type in various wireless networks, many efforts are made to improve the resilience of VB by increasing node connectivity. However, in cognitive radio networks (CRNs), communication disruption among unlicensed users (cognitive users, CUs)...
This research presented a geometric CAPTCHA which was not created from images in any database, but it is an image of a geometric shape that randomly generated from a program and its edge was incomplete. Geometric CAPTCHAs were tested with users to identify the number of angles from a shape and to do a simple calculation. Users must type a right answer to pass the CAPTCHA test. Geometric CAPTCHAs were...
In Thailand University, checking student attendance is one of the important issues for universities, because many universities evaluate students' attendance and while giving the final grade, professors consider their total number of appearances on classes during the whole semester. This brings to the idea of having some tool to control students' attendance. Some universities prefer to use paper sheet...
In this work we present the Byzantine Fault Tolerant Non-Blocking Weak Atomic Commitment (BFTNBWAC), a new proposal to solve the Non-Blocking Atomic Commitment (NBAC) problem, where the participants of protocol may fail in a Byzantine way. Our approach is based on virtualization technology, in which we specify a distributed system's architecture that makes possible the detection, masking and confining...
The subsurface damage (SSD) distributions in different crystal orientations and radial locations of silicon wafers (100) are analyzed through cross-section microscopy method. The experimental results show that the subsurface damage depth is non-uniform in the ground wafer. Along the radial direction, the subsurface damage depth increases from the center to the edge of the wafer, and the depth in <110>...
This official document tracking system the concept of enhancing real physical world with an extra layer of information. The project is built around the innovative use of GPS to navigate the office in the office of Faculty of Science at Si RaCha department, Kasetsart University Si Racha Campus, Thailand for case study. This will enable the department to live on general administration officer mobile...
This paper studies the exponential input-to-state stability (e-ISS) for hybrid dynamical networks (HDNs) consisting of flow and jumping subsystems. Concepts of input-to-state exponent (IS-E) and event-ISS are proposed. By using the IS-E estimates of subsystems and the method of multiple Lyapunov functions and M-matrix theory, the e-ISS including event-e-ISS criteria are established for HDNs. The small-gain...
With the prevalence of web-based learning, the application of concept mapping, as a powerful diagnostic and instructional tool, has been widely exploited in both education and computer science. In recent years, several methods have been presented to automatically construct concept map that achieved encouraging results, while ignoring some critical issues when applied in actual E-learning system. In...
Today, Coarse Grained Reconfigurable Architectures (CGRAs) host multiple applications. Novel CGRAs allow each application to exploit runtime parallelism and time sharing. Although these features enhance the power and silicon efficiency, they significantly increase the configuration memory overheads. As a solution to this problem researchers have employed statistical compression, intermediate compact...
The sensitivity of a piezoresistive sensor holds great importance in case of bio-medical applications. In this paper, we will discuss about how to enhance the sensitivity of a cantilever based piezoresistive sensor. The methodology behind this enhancement is creating Stress Concentration Region (SCR) on the beam. These SCR's are created by introducing defects on the beam. As the Stress Concentrated...
CMOS technology ushered in the silicon VLSI era over thirty years ago. This talk reviews the history of CMOS devices and projects their future prospects. For any given technology node, CMOS performance is limited by the shortest channel length that can be made while maintaining the integrity of transistor action. The development of the MOSFET scale length theory will be tracked from the 1970s to the...
The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that have potential to influence the adoption of mobile learning using WhatsApp a mobile instant messaging (MIM) application. The study was conducted at a University of Technology in South Africa. Student-centric learning and hedonic motivation were incorporated with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Marital status was...
