This paper presented first calculation of behaviour of contact between a shaft and a piane by using Hertz theory of impact. The results are compared with finite element model. For investigation of behaviour, the computer modelling method is used.
The subject of this paper is obtaining the behaviour of the steel arc tunnel support on its dynamic loading. The problem is formulated by means of FEM with use explicity solve of motion equations. Mathematical model of our problem uses shell structural elements and includes contact nonlinearites. For solving is used sofware product LS-DYNA 3D.
