Keywords of academic papers are jargons shared within a research domain as well as a summary of the contents. However, the increasing popularity of the interdisciplinary research in academia in recent years opened a possibility that the choice of keywords would be no longer confined by the traditional domain
output, citation impact, collaboration patterns, top institutions/authors/publication sources. We also performed a text-based analysis on keywords of all papers indexed in Scopus to identify thematic trends during the period. The analytical results present a detailed and useful picture of status and competence of CS domain
