Misunderstanding about sepsis, and misguided perceptions about treatment success rates, do a disservice to healthcare practitioners who, in the vast majority of cases, achieve the best possible outcomes for patients with life‐threatening infection.
Penile cancer is a rare malignancy and is associated with a high morbidity and mortality in advanced cases, and significant psychosocial implications for those afflicted. In this article the authors review the relationship between recognised risk factors, including human papillomavirus, lichen sclerosis, circumcision and penile cancer.

Foot and ankle surgery is a dynamic and growing area of orthopaedic surgery, with novel treatments and increased understanding of injuries, their prevention and treatment. The expansion in the range of foot and ankle surgery means that increasingly treatment can be tailored to each individual patient's needs.
